*He can point to his ears,eyes,nose,hair,mouth,teeth,fingers,toes, and forehead. We are working on Cheek, Elbow, and Chin at the moment!
*He knows what a Cow, Duck, Horse, Dog, Monkey says...
*He is a size 3 diaper...
*Wears mostly 12, 12-18, and a select few 18 month clothes. He's so little that everything falls off of him!
*His shoes are size 5.5
*He can now tell us when he has a tee or stink stink diaper! We're starting the potty training a little bit, I haven't bought a pott yet, but I will be pretty soon.
*LOVES to be outside
*He calls all 3 of Aunt Sam's kids "Eli" :)
*VERY demanding
*Doesn't have any patience at all.
*Not very good at sharing his toys
*Will bite if you make him mad enough.
*We recently bought him 3 goldfish, which he loves and has to watch them all the time.
*Can be a very picky eater at times, but he will always eat Spagetti, Green Beans, and Zipper Peas.
*Thinks that my ipod and DS are his own.
*Still sleeps with Tad and I...working on that! :)
*Doesn't like having his hands dirty at all.
*Takes 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon..or we'll have a very grumpy little boy!
*Knows when he sees himself in the mirror or just a picture of him.
*Takes all the pots and pans out of the kitchen cabinets.
*If his Papa T is eating, he thinks he must eat also..doesn't matter if he just ate or not..
*Gives the sweetest Hugs and Kisses..
*Enjoys playing in the bath, but HATES the after part...(getting lotion on,and clothes on)
*Sleeps all night unless he's sick
*Wakes up in the morning saying "hey" most of the time.
*He loves his Eli, and screams everytime we go by their house and don't stop...
*Thinks he is older and bigger than he really is.
*Pulls out all the movies off the tv stand several times a day...
*When he starts saying "teeth" means he needs them brushed THEN, he hates to wait!
*Can def. throw a boogie woogie fit
*If you don't watch out he will head butt you!
*Loves playing with my hair
*Wants lotion all the time on his hands.

My first Menu Monday

I am going to attempt this Menu for the week deal. I don't promise anything, but I'm sure going to try my hardest to cook these meals everynight! :)

Monday- Cheesy Potato Soup
Tuesday- Baked Chicken, Zipper Peas, and Pasta w/ Cheese
Wednesday- Roast in the crockpot, garlic mashed potatos, and Butter Beans
Thursday- Spagetti and a side salad
Friday- All depends on what our plans are..most likely We'll go out to eat :)

Thank Goodness for some Sleep!

Brayden slept all night last night! No crying, No screaming, No NOTHING! :) Thank goodness! He feel asleep in my arms while I was watching TV in the living room. So once I decided he was good and asleep I put him in his crib, and usually he wakes up but he didn't this time. After I put him in his crib I stayed up a little longer, and around 9:30 I went to bed and watched tv. I woke up around 12:30 and decided to go get him and put him in the bed with me. The bed felt very lonely without him, but I know I've got to start putting him in his bed. We plan on getting a twin bed for him pretty soon and I'm going to want him to sleep in it. Slowly but surely Tad and I will start letting him sleep in his crib more, and hopefully we'll sleep better too! :) Tad comes home tomorrow night, and I can't wait to see him and spend 7 days with him! Brayden is taking his morning nap right now, and I really need to be doing some school work but I just can't seem to get very motivated today. I've been trying to do a little online christmas shopping this morning, and it hasn't been going so well. I didn't have intentions on ordering anything today, but thought I would try and get some ideas....yeah right... I haven't found anything except a few things that Tad and I have already talked about getting Brayden. I want to get Tad some surprises but I just can't seem to find anything that catches my eye! He's knows that he's getting an ipod touch, so thats not really a surprise to him..I need to be ordering that too! Anyway, I'm going to try to start doing the Menu Monday that Toyia is doing, so I will try to do that post later this afternoon. I love to cook, just normally after dance I'm so tired I don't want too, but I'm going to try and cook everynight this week with the exception of Friday, which I may cook if we're home but you never know we might go out to eat :) I'm not sure what our plans are for the weekend, I know Saturday we have our Fall Festival at our church so we will be there some of the day. As far as Friday, I'm positive that Tad will most likely be hunting if his ladder stand comes in(which it should be here any day now). Well, I better get Brayden and I some lunch cooked before he wakes up from his nap. :)

Is it Night Time Yet??

The past 2 nights have been the roughest 2 nights that Brayden and I have had since he had the fever virus sometime last year. He has been waking himself up screaming, and hardly anything makes him happy. I can walk him around bouncing him in my arms and that helps for a little while, and then he gets tired of that. So needless to say we haven't been getting much sleep the past 2 days. Last night he started running fever..but it wasn't that high..Thank Goodness! He got his first set of molars in several months ago, but they haven't came all the way through yet. So last Monday when we went for Brayden's 18 month check-up, Dr.Germanson said that he may run a low fever and tug at his ears some as the molars start coming on through. Then I talked to Aunt Sam this morning after church, and said that they will sometimes have more dirty diapers and fever. So I'm guessing that's whats going on with Brayden, because he normally only has 1 dirty diaper a day and has had 2 a day for the past 2 days. And of course all of this happens while Tad is at work. So I CANNOT wait for him to get home, so that maybe I can get some sleep. I'm praying for a better night tonight, and hopefully both of us will get some sleep :) The days are fine, other than I'm just tired..but Brayden doesn't scream or anything during the day when he takes his naps. Maybe I should be dreading the night time other than asking if it's night time yet! haha...Tad will be home Tuesday night for his 7 days off! :) Brayden and I are excited to get to spend some time with him thats more than just a day! Which he will be hunting most of the time, but at least he will be in the same state as us. Hopefully we are going to plan a trip somewhere, we don't know where yet but Tad wants to go somewhere and do Christmas shopping. Which I'm all up for a trip and shopping :). For right now, I'll just be going to school and dance!

 We went to the fair Thursday night after I got out of dance, and Brayden LOVED all the lights! I knew he was really to small for most of the rides, but I love going to the fair and seeing all the bright lights :). He was very interested in some of the rides and what they were doing. Of course I let him play the duck game, and yes I wanted to play too. Only its different now than when I used to play when I was little. It doesn't have numbers on the bottom of the ducks anymore...which kind of takes the fun out of it! He just wanted to hit the ducks and not pick them up, so I had to pick the ducks up for him.

 He only rode the carasoul (I'm not sure how to spell that) and Tad's dad rode with him, I don't like them..the animals looky freaky to me. He seemed to have enjoyed it though ;)

 Brayden was telling me that he needed some lotion, he thinks he needs lotion ALL the time! As you can see Brayden's newest thing is pulling out all of our movies and throwing them in the floor. Tad and I pick them up SEVERAL times a day, but it doesn't seem to help! haha... I guess he's just being a boy...

Just like New

 This picture was taken Thursday night while I was cooking Brayden and I supper. He was being soo sweet playing in the living room, and then he decided he needed to take a break on the couch. Notice all the slober on his shirt, I've never known a child to slober as much..Well I guess I do, it would be me... :) When I was in middle school I had to wear a lip bumper before I got braces, and it made my bottom lip poke out so I would slobber occasionally, and sometimes I still do. haha... Anyway, Mother and I cleaned my carpets yesterday and they looked SOO much better! We will really be able to tell today, I haven't been home yet since we stayed here last night to let the carpet dry. So, I'm anxious to see if it did as good as a job as I think it did! I hope so.. Our carpet was filthy, and I don't understand how it could get that dirty. I'm hoping it looks just like NEW!:) Tad was pretty happy that we cleaned it, he has been wanting it done for awhile now. When I talked to him last night he said he wanted hardwood all throughout our house whenever we get to build one. :) They are finally getting to stay on location now, and out of those crappy hotel rooms! Bless their hearts, I don't see how they lived in that hotel for that long, I could barely make it one night! He made it through and now is able to start cooking instead of eating out everyday..and most importantly wear CLEAN CLOTHES! :) Brayden has learned a few new words this past week....stink stink, change it, turtle, golf cart, and pig. Of course his favorite word is NO! I will ask him anything and he says "Noooooo" and makes a funny face. He loves to dance and will start dancing in the middle of nowhere, there doesn't even have to be music playing sometimes. I guess he's going to be like his mommy and LOVE to dance! :) I don't know what we have planned for today, Mother had to go work registration for the fair this morning, and won't get off until 1 and daddy of course is in the deer woods. Brayden and I may go meet mother in Andy when she gets off and do some running around with her. He is asleep right now and I have nothing to do, which I guess I could do my math homework, but I think that can hold off until tomorrow afternoon or Monday! :)

Brayden was only up for about and hour and a half this morning before he crashed again. I was sitting on the love seat and he crawled up and sat with me, and the next thing I knew his head was falling over and his eyes were closed. I picked him up and held him on my chest for a few minutes then went and laid him down in our bedroom. It used to be "my" bedroom, but since Brayden came along he's kind of taken over some. What a day!

My day started at 5 am this morning, and boy was I wanting to stay in the bed! I was soo sleepy and of course I didn't sleep to well last night. We stayed with Izzy and Papa T since Papa T kept Brayden today while I was at school, and I wouldn't have to wake Brayden up at 6:30 for me to bring him down here. Once I got to school I felt better and wasn't so tired...thank goodness! After my first class was over I went down to the deli and got a fried chicken sandwhich that was YUMMY! Ohh it was soo good. I didn't eat breakfast before I left home because I was afraid it would make me sick. Sometimes breakfast makes me sick if I eat to early in the morning. So I was starving by 10:15! :) Overall, I had a good day at school and right now I'm not to sleepy but I'm sure by the time I watch One Tree Hill and Teen Mom..I will be worn slame out! We are working on week 2 without Tad and we miss him TONS. I wish he were home but I'm glad that we have him and that he wants to take good care of Brayden and I.

 The next few pictures are of Brayden and Oki Grace having snack time in the garage after playing hard in the yard. They both had their Opp Bobcats shirts on, and I thought it would be nice to have a picture of them together in their shirts.

 Brayden is dressing up as a dinosaur this year for Halloween and I cannot wait! He looks SOOO cute! It came in the other Saturday and I just had to try it on him and snap a picture. Last year, he was a girraffe and I'm pretty positive nothing will ever top that costume and how CUTE he looked in it, but the dinosaur comes pretty close! Plus I loved it because it was green, which is my favorite color.

 Doesn't he look just soo dern cute??? I think he does...He has to be the sweetest and cutest dinosaur that I've ever seen!!! :)

Oh yeah, Brayden's doctor appt. got cancelled Friday so I had to reschedule it for Monday the 18th! My poor boy has to get shots...I would say that I would take them for him if I could, but I really hate shots too. So, I just wish that he didn't have to have them, or maybe his daddy would come take them for him..  ;)

The Smallest things have the Biggest Difference! :)

Tad left for work last Monday, and most likely won't be home for another 2 weeks. :( So, Brayden and I surprised him with a trip to MS to see him on Saturday! We went with Amy and little miss Emma and had a great trip! :) We were sad to leave yesterday since we probably won't get to see Tad for awhile. We did enjoy our time with him though and Brayden was soo happy to see his daddy. It's going to be a long 2 weeks without him I'm sure! I have an 8 o'clock class that starts tomorrow, and I'm sure I will be super tired tomorrow night! So, that means that I have to get up at 5:00!!! I'm just not used to that at all, but I'm sure I will get used to by December...well maybe anyway! haha...It's only on Tuesday's since it's just a Hybrid class and part of it is online. I don't have dance this week since Opp Schools are out for Fall Break, which gives me time to spend with Brayden ;) Thursday was Tad's birthday, and bless his heart he was at work! He says that he turned 21 but in reality he turned 27!!! He's getting really close to 30.... He just wishes he was as young as me! haha..

This was Brayden last night after we got home from Izzy and Papa T's house, he fell asleep beside me sitting up while I was watching tv. So before I went to sleep I turned the light on and had to get a picture!  He was pooped from his ride home yesterday, but he was glad he got to see his daddy!

 Well last November I asked Aunt Sam if she could make me some new curtains for my kitchen, because we had the ones that came with the house and they were not my style! :) She told me to go get some fabric at T&C, so thats what I did. Well she was busy and wasn't able to make them over Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. I would tease her about making everything else and not my curtains! Well it was about time for summer and she "promised" me that she would make them this summer...so do you think I got them this summer? NOOO!!! :) She was busy, yes I know! So, while we were on our way to MS Saturday she called me and said " Valerie is going to make your curtains" I was soo HAPPY! It's been 11 months since I bought that fabric and FINALLY I'm getting some curtains :) When Brayden and I got home yesterday the first stop we made was at Aunt Sam's house to get the curtains and they are sooo cute! I'm crazy about the color green it's my favorite so of course my curtains have a lot of green in them. Here are a few pictures of my new curtains! Valerie and Aunt Sam thank you soo much! :)

Always remember if your not a "PAYING COSTUMER" your sewing things come last!!! hahaha... The paying costumers always come first! Believe me its the truth. I mean it took almost a whole year to get some curtains for my kitchen! I love you Aunt Sam! Now, is Brayden going to have some shirts for this winter or am I going to have to starve him so that maybe you'll have them done by next winter and he'll be able to wear them??? HAHAHA! LOVE YOU!

Just a Few things...

Our weekend started out with a yardsale on Saturday morning. My mother and I had a yardsale together, and we did pretty good too. We were just glad to get rid of everything and not have it in our houses anymore, which most of it was in her house...haha :) So after the yardsale was over we both took a nap with Brayden since we had been up since 4:30! Tad and my daddy smoked a boston butt and they cooked me Tilapia because I don't eat boston butt...Yes I know I'm weird... I got Aunt Sam to bake Tad a pound Cake for his birthday since he won't be home for his birthday on Thursday. So we had pound cake and homemade ice cream! It was YUUUMMMYYY! Tad will be 27 on Thursday, though he says that he's going to be 21. I guess he's already starting to get senile. haha. He left for work today which is a day early, but its okay since he's been home almost 3 weeks with us! We still miss him of course but we got to spend some extra time with him. He left around 10 this morning and Brayden and I have been absolutely lazy all day long. We went to mother and daddy's for a little while tonight and just relaxed..haha... So we really haven't done ANYTHING at all today. I did wash clothes today, clean Brayden's room, go through some of his summer clothes to sell, and clean the kitchen. Other than that we have played inside and outside today. Tomorrow is back to school and Dance, but its payday tomorrow! :) so thats always a good day! ;) I will make 3 trips to Dothan this week, because Brayden has his 18 month appt. on Friday morning.Brayden is passed out right beside in the bed laying on top of all our pillows. He looks so comfortable and peaceful! I wish I slept as good as he does at night. It's almost 10:30 and I have a long drive to Dothan in the morning.

Of course this is their gameday picture! Tad holding a number 1... I'm assuming he's trying to say that Auburn in number 1. :) Brayden can say War and Hey but he's missing the Eagle part so we're still working on that part!

I'm not exactly sure what Brayden was doing in this picture, but I thought he caught his little personality just right! I kind of looks like he's trying to sing... We have a microphone at Mother and Daddy's house that goes to the karaoke machine and Brayden LOVES playing with it. He hollers into it and walks around and wants us to holler into it also. So cute, We always tell him he needs to be on American Idol. :) He will be my BIG 18month old on Wednesday, and it makes me want to cry cry cry! I just think about how small he was this time last year and that he was just starting to try to scoot around the floor, and feeding him bottles every 4 hours! I miss that soo much!
