Back to the busy life....

Brayden brought some change to me on Friday afternoon that I guess he wanted to take to the game with him, needless to say it was Mexican money..he did keep it in his pocket all day though.
He thought he should put a bump it in his hair to make it look fuller for the pep rally. haha
Mommy and Brayden playing while Daddy was at work..we have nothing better to do.. :)
Well we have got back into our routine a little bit with me starting back at Troy/Dothan, which is a relief. I've started back to zumba twice a week from missing alot this summer because he being gone, and I've been working really hard at the dance studio. I have almost got everything ready for shoe week, I just need to set everything up now. We are still adjusting to Tad being gone every other week, but it seems to be becoming easier for me. He came home Wednesday night and had to leave again Saturday morning...So, we didn't get to spend a whole lot of time together. We did make it to eat at Howard's and the Football game on Friday. I have missed Howards...its by far my favorite place to eat in Opp. This was Brayden's second football game, I took him to one last year but he was too little to know anything. This year he is older and he loved it! He is turning into a complete mess these days. He said Izzy the other night and of course my mother was soo happy. She has been waiting on that since he started saying PawPaw. I asked him the other day if he wanted to go home and he said "home" it was too cute. He can also say work...Since Tad is gone alot I figured he should know where his daddy is. Everyone asks me what he's getting for Christmas and I guess he's getting a DS and an Ipod since he has to have mine all the time. My little 16 month old is high tech and wants what his mommy has.
This was Brayden at the game on Friday night, the only time he would come to is when somebody would walk by and run into them... :)

He loves to sit in the recliner with the DS with a blanket and a pillow.

The Bottle went Bye Bye!

Brayden is a little over 16 months old and still refuses to drink milk out of anything other than his bottles! I packed all his bottles up and we're putting them in the attack this weekend! So, on Monday night I gave a cup of milk...he spit it out. Therefore, he went to bed without any milk on Monday. I attempted again yesterday after I got home from school...He spit it out again. Then I got to thinking what if I put some strawberry in it now...will he drink it? and YES he did! I was sooo HAPPY :) I've tried strawberry and chocolate before and he still wouldn't drink it, but I guess he decided he was thirsty and that he wasn't getting any juice. He is doing so good now, and I'm so happy that I don't have to wash bottles anymore!! I hated that more than anything. I'm just happy that Brayden has decided it was time to be a big boy and drink milk from his cup even if its strawberry! I have been worried about this for several months that he would not let go of his bottle. He only had one bottle a day and that was at nighttime,so that meant he only had milk one time a day and it was only about 6 oz. When I gave him his milk this morning, he just sort of gave me this "what the world" look and drank it. Maybe he is starting to understand that the bottles are gone and milk only comes in cups now! haha... Now on to the pottytraining...I plan on starting in October with him and hopefully he will do pretty well.
Anyway...Tad left for work yesterday while I was at school so I pretty sad that I didn't get to see him leave. I'm sure I will get use to it though since it will happen every other time he is home. The other times he will have to leave in the morning so he will most likely leave before I even leave for school. We miss him already and wish he was home to play with us! School is going great! I love my classes and my teachers are nice too. My math teacher is special... he is just one of those types of teachers you see on TV. Its hilarious....It takes all I can do not to laugh at him when I'm in class, he is incredibly goofy acting, but he's super nice in helping you with what you don't understand. This time next year I will be getting ready to graduate in Dec. of '11. I'm pretty excited and can't wait. But anyway, this little boy of mine is telling me he needs breakfast so I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

When Daddy's are In Charge....

They always say that mommy's are for nurture and daddy's are for play...well I have finally believed it! We have been down here at mother and daddy's house all afternoon and Tad, my daddy, and Brayden went to the store(onycha grocery) on the golf cart while I was finishing some homework for tomorrow. While they were gone it started pouring rain which it has on and off all day long. So, they get back and they had gotten Brayden a sucker so we were all outside. Next thing I know Tad and Brayden are running in and out of the garage in the rain. It was funny..I'm surprised Brayden liked it. He loves a bath but doesn't usually care about getting wet like that. So then Tad runs out in the yard in a huge water puddle, and guess who follows him...BRAYDEN! I just knew he was going to fall in that water or either just sit down, but when he bent down on his knees his hiney got soaked! He ran in and out of the water for awhile and then he finally fell down. It was funny! Then all of a sudden my daddy starts laughing and we look at Brayden...He was making his mommy a nice little present in his diaper, which was of course soaked also. Then he started getting grass allover himself and kept saying "eww" so I made him come inside to get a bath and find out just how bad my little present was. Overall, it was really funny! Now I really wonder what goes on when Tad or my daddy have him while I'm at school or dance.Hmm...It really makes me think... :) Here are a few pictures of their fun this afternoon.
