Yeah I know, I'm bad at this!

Trust me! I know I'm horrible at blogging! My husband and friend Toyia let me know quite often that I'm bad at blogging and that I need to do it. It's like a chore for me sometimes. I hate sitting down at the computer, I'd rather just use the ipad and I've typed a school paper on the ipad before, it was TERRIBLE! So anyway, I never got around to blogging about our big news... for anyone that doesn't know which I think everyone knows by now...We are expecting! Praise the Lord! After 16 long months of praying, crying, screaming, being angry and crying and praying. We found out we were expecting in late January! Can you believe I kept it a secret from Tad for almost 2 weeks??? It was definitely very difficult.  I told him the day he got home from work and had a series of gifts for him...and I love him but he really never figured it out until the end when I had a sign that said "We are Pregnant!" He was so surprised, I think we both cried. Brayden did know the whole time and did a fabulous job at keeping it a secret I might add. On May 6th we found out we were having a baby girl! I cried and cried laying on the table during the ultrasound. We wanted a baby girl so badly...I've longed for a baby girl for 2 1/2 years now...and I was finally going to have one! Her name will be Mollie Mae Tisdale, she is named after my great grandmother Dolly Mae and Tads grandmother Ollie Mae! I wanted Mollie because of me- MeKayla and my momma-Melissa...we will all have M names :)  She is already a spoiled little girl not only by her family but buy some wonderful friends! I can't thank our friends and family enough for praying for us to have a baby girl. Since we found out the baby is a girl, Tad has been on me about selling Brayden's old clothes, for one its taking up lots of space in the attic and he say's we are done. Well I think like most mother's, I'm just not quite ready to part with his baby things! I did give in somewhat and started selling some of his things. BUT I am NOT selling his smocked outfits yet and yes that's a 2 tote thing :) I can't see Brayden being my last baby boy at the moment wearing those sweet little boy outfits. I am 27 weeks 2days and will be in the 3rd trimester soon...like where has the time gone?? It is so crazy how fast its going by. Mollie Mae is a busy little thing, she moves all the time, makes me run to the bathroom more than I ever have in my entire life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. Brayden is ecstatic about his little sister, he gets very upset when we go to the doctor every month and we don't come home with her. He told Tad and I the other week that he was tired of getting pictures of her that he wanted her out! :)) Our family beach trip is in 2 weeks and I am so ready!! Although, I think I might be a little miserable on the beach everyday...Maybe I can find a extension cord long enough from the beach house to the beach for me a fan?? *haha* Fat chance huh??? I'm already hot sitting in the house in the air conditioner so I can only imagine sitting on the beach while Brayden plays in the sand and water. Anyway, we are going to enjoy a day with our Nina, Landon, and Baylie Kate today! We have missed them lots... I'm not even sure when we saw them last! :/ We are fixing that today and will be heading to Enterprise soon to visit them! I'm REALLY going to try my HARDEST not to go this long without blogging again :)

Santa was very good to Brayden this year! He loved all his surprises from Santa!

Of course I couldn't forget about our elf Bernie! He is such a mess!! Brayden LOVED him!!!

 Tiffany and I threw a Christmas party with our friends! We had a blast!! We did tacky sweater and played dirty Santa. We had so much fun and plan to make it an annual thing ;) I made my sweater, haha, I thought it turned out cute instead of tacky! :)

I turned 24 on January 5th..WOW! Tad and I went out to eat at Myori's for my birthday and then enjoyed some shopping in Dothan at Sams and Target :)

Brayden went on his very first hunting trip with his Papa T and Daddy! He LOVED it..as you can see in the last picture of him in the shooting house playing his ipad! :) They didn't see any deer but did see a few turkeys. Brayden is now excited about turkey season when his daddy gets home!!!

We pick up Sam's kids on Tuesday's Wednesday's and Thursday's from school and B loves to play with them! Big cousin Eli was being such a good sport!! Payback Eli for all those times I had to do this!!! *haha*

Last time Tadpole was at work, Brayden and I were just bored out of our minds. So one Monday we had had enough! *L* We loaded up and headed to Dothan for a Mommy/Brayden day!! There was a few things I had to pick up for Tadpole. We went to Sam's and of course spent to much then we went to Target to pick up the things for Tad. We finished our day with a late lunch at O'Charley's. It was wonderful, Brayden loved it!!! On our way back home we swung by and picked up our last load of deer meat for the season. Then enjoyed a nice night on the couch watching tv!! Love my time with this little guy!! He's my favorite!! :)))

My Computer is FIXED!!!! WOOHOOO

Well I know its been FOREVER since I last blogged, but my computer completely went crazy and wouldn't get online what so ever. I tried everything I knew to fix it but I quickly gave up before I got really ill with it. *L* My momma of course has been busy and I kept forgetting to ask her to come look at it. So, yesterday she finally came to look at it and ended up having to take it home and play with it....and WAALAA! It's fixed now... my printer still isn't seeing my wireless but I can handle it for right now, I was getting a little ill about my computer especially when I would get the urge to blog and I couldn't. Like, I even almost attempted to blog from Tad's ipad! Yes, I almost did...but do you know how long that would have taken me? :/ So anyway, All the holidays are over and decorations are put away for another 10 1/2 months (give or take). We had a great Christmas, although it was sad... Tadpole had to work this Christmas, Our first Christmas ever being away from each other. I guess that's pretty good since we've been together almost 6 years and he's only missed 1 Christmas! Brayden LOVED waking up every morning looking for Bernie (our elf) to see what kind of crazy mess he got into that night/early morning. :) I think Brayden asked pretty much everyday to open a present...and then one day decided that all his presents needed to go under his tree in his room instead of the big tree in the living room. So, by himself found all of his and moved them to his bedroom. If he came to one that he couldn't read the name, he would ask me and I would normally reply as "that's tadpoles or papa T's" and then with a very angry look on his face he would say "but why you get daddy and papa T presents everyday momma???" BAHAHA! It cracked me up so much, he is the funniest little thing. I just love that wild boy! Anyway, Santa came Christmas Eve and was very generous to a little boy and that little boy was thrilled from head to toe! :) I think he most loved his baseball and football cards that Daddy *cough cough* I mean Santa left in his stocking. =)

So, Anyway Christmas was wonderful. Tad came home the Friday after Christmas and we were soooo happy to see and hug him! That Saturday night we had The Colquett 5 and The Johnson's over to grill and hang out. It was so nice to be able to hang out with each other and just talk and of course we would check on the kids every now and then *haha* For NYE we just hung out at my momma and daddy's house, we shot some fireworks. FYI: NEVER NEVER let your hubby who thinks he's 12 go to the firework store by himself! Because if you do you'll have a severe dent in your pocketbook! *L* :) The Tisdale's rang in the NY in bed asleep! We went to sleep around 10:30...we just cant handle those late nights anymore *bahahaha* yes we are an old married couple :) But I wouldn't trade it for anything! After all the holidays were over, Tad was pretty much in the woods everyday. He did kill a 8pt before he went back to work though!

 I had a birthday! I turned 24??? WOW, should I really be that old? Like SERIOUSLY? Didn't I just turn 18? This is just crazy... Time if flying by and I think I've missed half of it... :/ Ya know, ppl always told me (when I was in HS) to not wish you life away and enjoy high school cause once you graduate you'll want to go back... Of course me nor my friends thought that was true, we were just thrilled about graduating. Well.... I don't wish I was back in high school, I just wish I still had the dress up Friday's, and standing up on the hill at the stadium during football games thinking I'm just the coolest person ever...*BTW I was the COOLEST PERSON EVERRR!!!!!* I was that student that the teachers liked/loved but dreaded having in class because they knew I hated doing work and basically just wanted to have fun in class. Now SR year when we had that Dr. in English, I can't remember his name and we meditated every Friday...that was pretty awesome! That's the kind of teacher I would be IF I were a teacher. So anyway.... Where did the time go??? Like I can remember all the crazy stuff I did in HS?? But I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago??? How is that? Maybe Brayden and I should start having dress up Friday's at home! I bet I would WIN!!!! :-) Back to the birthday, Tad and I had date night that night, We went to Myori's :) my favorite place to eat for my birthday! Then we went to Dothan and did some shopping at Sam's and then Target! Can you believe that Me Kayla Tisdale got out of Target with 2 bags that cost $53???? Tad and I both were completely shocked... I don't plan on making that a habit though! *haha*

Last week I went to Walmart to get some necessary things, like paper towels, cleaning supplies and a few groceries. Well when I got home, the kitchen,dining and living room was so clean and neat even swept and mopped! Tadpole was on a role. First thing he said was lets get this stuff in and we are going to get a dining room table! haha... He said that it was so ridiculous how dirty the floor was from us eating at the bar and on the couches. That we needed a table and would start eating at it from now on...No more eating on the couch for us. The table came in yesterday and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! I'm so happy to be able to sit at an actual table to eat or drink my coffee like I did the morning. 

Okay, blogger will no longer allow me to upload photos so I've got to download Google Chrome! I just haven't gotten around to downloading it yet. Hopefully I will be able to post more often now :)

It's Christmas! *haha*

So yesterday, Brayen informed me that Halloween was over and that Christmas was yesterday. ???? I didn't get the memo and I'm sure most of you didn't either that Christmas was before Thanksgiving this year and that it was yesterday! So I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas *lol* We've been trying for a week now to understand that Thanksgiving is next and that we have all these things that God has given us to be thankful for, and obviously it isn't registering in Brayden's head. :) That kid is something else now! When I ask him to clean up the living room or put his toys away, he ALWAYS replies with "My stomach hurts" or "My feet are broke" or " My hands don't work" ??? Seriously?? If thats the case, when its time to do laundry its hurt my feet to walk to the laundry room and my hands don't know how to fold or iron clothes AND my tummy hurts and I just don't want to do it! How about that? ;)

I subbed Thursday and Friday of last week, I had 8th graders both days.. And I asked them.. Do ya'll really act like this all the time? The responed with Yes! Ohh dear... Poor teachers! Nah they were really good on Friday after I showed the "REAL" Kayla! I just don't think that me and my friends acted like that in the 8th grade? I had one student ask me to tell them some funny stories about what me and my friends did when we were their age. I didn't think that was a good idea! *L* What do you think Nina and Tiffany??? Telling them to disobey their momma's to go riding uptown with their BF's brother??? BAHAHA! Sorry Mom! But you know I did :) Or skipping the school dance to go rolling in Straughn and telling your parents you were at the dance??? What you think Nina?? All I know is that Landon and Brayden are most likely going to be the death of me when they hit the teenage years! Cause if they are ANYTHING like Nina and I were....OHHHHHH BOY! I better invest in several more wooden spoons because I have a feeling I'm going to use them alot and break them often! I've already told Nina that Brayden isn't allowed to spend the night with them, cause I know whats happens...My mom let me stay with Nina WAY to much! *lol* Tiffany probably won't have any kids, so Brayden will like staying with her....but I'm sure I won't! Yes, Tiff you know you'll be that confused old person that we always saw riding around up town checking us out! :) You know I love you though! Tiff and I never really got into trouble together, we just always did the stupidest stuff, I mean who thinks of making a slipNslide out of shower curtains and using Tide detergent as soap??? I mean really??? And by the way using Tide detergent(not the liquid kind) for soap will give you a rash!!! We would ride around town, Tiff would have on her glasses and her moms lab coat all the way up to steering wheel and I would be all the way laid back in the seat listening to "scary" music! I'd rather not tell you alot of stories about Tiff and I because you would be here ALL day reading and laughing and then look at me different when you see me... YES, we were really that stupid!


Okay so anyway, Brayden is awake and needs his mommy :) I'll post pictures next time! I hope you enjoyed a laugh this morning!!!

Already end of October?? Really???

Omgosh, people its the end of October... Where in the world did this month?? I tell you, Tad's hitch home seemed like it lasted 3 days not 3 weeks. :( We were pretty busy but of course still found time for some laziness. Hunting season came in, so you know Tad hunted alot. Brayden didn't like waking up and finding out that daddy had gone hunting without him. Maybe soon he'll get to go with his daddy and Papa T.

Ohh, I did finally get our gas logs ordered! Go me! They still haven't came in...I wish they would because I'm to cheap to run the heater in the house. Our A/C-heater has been turned off since Saturday! :) Hoping for a nice electric bill. If you know me, I completely FREAK out if its over $200. So you can imagine how freaked out I've been about running the A/C since we've been in the house.

I've started reading a book its called MOMumental. It is sooo hilarious! She's a stay at home mom and tells it like it is. So its a MUST read for all my SAHM's and even working moms at that. I started reading it this past Friday while I was subbing and I'm half way through it... I despise to read, so to have half the book read is doing good for me.

I would also like to announce that Brayden is fully potty trained now, no more pull-ups at night, thanks to his daddy! His daddy got that accomplished while he was home. Go Tadpole! Tad and I started our Christmas shopping last week with a trip to Destin. We got B several things and ourselves a few things too :) We ate at AJ's and OMGOSH...the oysters were FANTASTIC!!!! so big and juicy :)

 Brayden enjoyed painting his pumpkin while Izzy and I painted a bookshelf for his play room. We love our craft days...especially painting :)

Fabo Weekend!

Our weekend was fabulous, a little busy but mostly fabulous! :) Tad rented a huge waterslide for Saturday. They called Friday before lunch and wanted to know if they could go ahead and bring it, they wanted all of Saturday off, so of course we said YES! Just a free day :)Toyia and the kiddos came over, she picked Oki up from school and brought her too.

 

 

 

 

Saturday, we had Tad's family over for lunch, football and some fun on the slide! I got to hold the newest addition.. Jase! He's such a sweet baby...he's not wild like the other boys! *L*

 

 Saturday night, Aunt Sam and Uncle Wayne and the kiddos came over for supper. The kids enjoyed playing on the slide of course.

Today was opening day of deer season and you know Tad's been in the woods all day! *L* Brayden and I had planned on having a pajamma day but Tad called and said sketters were eating him alive and needed a thermacell. So B and I went to WalMart... aren't we sweet ? :) I did get 4 loads of laundry washed and dried..and one big pile of clothes ironed.
