Happy Thanksgiving!

Last week was terrible and I mean it was awful! Tuesday, Brayden woke up from his around 11 and he was burning up... like 102.9 temp! He had been sick the week before but hadn't ran fever since that Saturday afternoon. Well I went ahead and got him an appointment to see the doctor since it was Thanksgiving I didn't want him being sick with no meds. Tad was at work..my parents were in NYC.... In-laws had the flu.... Anyway, Aunt Gail went with me to the doctor. I met her at Ino and she kicked me out of the drivers seat, refused to let me drive my own car to Dothan! I don't ride with Gail often and neither should you! *L* She thinks everybody is going to drive out and hit her.. and with her constant letting off the gas... We did have an enjoyable ride over and several laughs :) We got there, she stayed in the car with MM because I didn't want her around all the sick people and it was time for her to eat. Needless to say, Brayden had the stinkin' flu! UGH! Just what I needed cause remember... Tad was at work..my parents were in NYC.... In-laws had the flu.... What in the world was I suppose to do?? MM had to go stay with Aunt Sam and her crew. The doctor had said if he took the medicine for 24 hours MM could come back home. Guess what?? My child REFUSED to take the medicine! I forced it down him and he spit some of it out and then threw the rest of it up. Meltdown time...except it wasn't Brayden this time..this meltdown was all Mommy!!! I just emailed Tad and told him I needed prayer..Brayden wouldn't take his medicine and being away from MM at 8 weeks old overnight. I cried and cried pretty much all Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Well, we went and got MM Thursday before lunch! I couldn't stand it any longer...I think I held her most of the morning. We had the Carnley Thanksgiving at my house Thursday night for supper. Gail totally ruined the dumplings, dont let her tell you it was me...because it wasn't!

I sure love these Turkey babies!

On our way to Dothan last Tuesday :(

Waiting to see the doctor  :( Poor baby didn't feel good one bit!
Eli is SUCH a baby hog, so he really loved having MM at their house for a few days!

Aunt Sam sent me this Wednesday.. doesn't she look so peaceful?

Apparently she loves Eli... It's the big cousin thing! :)
He was starting to feel much better Wednesday...WITHOUT medicine!

Oki Grace had a real live baby doll to play with ;)

When we woke up Thursday morning, Bernie was back with a friend, Melvin came to help watch over Brayden and Mollie Mae.

I was on top of the moon! I had baby girl back in my arms :)))))

I think she was just as happy to see me as I was to see her.

They looked okay, smelt terrible and tasted even worse! EPIC FAIL!Gail and I vow to never to dumplings again...lol... We are leaving that to you momma!
By the way...we are ALL well now! I still have this stupid cough but I always keep the cough for a long time. I hope ya'll had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Happy Holiday's :))

Family of 4 Please!

We are LOVING LOVING LOVING being a family of 4 now! I always wished I had a little brother, when I got older I was glad I was an only child...still am for the most part. Having 2 kids a boy and a girl is everything I had hoped it to be and so much more. I'm thankful that my kids will always have a sibling to go to. I won't say its been the easiest thing to get used to but its been an adventure and I'm still learning new things on being a parents to 2. Mollie Mae gets up once a night (most of the time) for a bottle and will then go back to sleep and wake up normally around 7. Which works out great because Brayden has preschool, so it goes ahead and gets me out of the bed :)

These sweet babies couldn't stay awake on the way home from MM's 2 day check-up!

MM had to support Bama in her outfit Izzy bought her :)

Now this is my handsome husband :))

I got to go to 3 of B's game thankfully :) I loved watching him get so excited about playing soccer!

After one of his soccer games we took B to the fair, MM went to Izzy's for a little while. :)

The look I get majority of the time when I ask to take a picture of him

Daddy and baby girl passed out on B and I one night.

Tell me she aint the cutest thing you've ever seen!

Tad and Kyle both turned 30 this recently so Toyia and I wanted to do something special for them! We threw them a surprise birthday party at Hilltop without them finding out! GO US! We the bomb!!! They were so shocked and were so happy! I think everybody had a wonderful time :)

She is probably going to kill me BUT she likes to capture everything...so I said well let me take pictures of this! She was trying an oyster..asking several questions on how to eat it and all.. I laughed alot at her :))

I will end with a picture of my babies! Brayden is begging to go to bed... so I better take him to bed :) I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow with your families! I'm thankful for my hard working husband and precious healthy babies! AND my family, I'd be a nervous wreck without them most of the time ;)

Mollie Mae Tisdale

Tad and I had to be at the hospital by 5am to get ready for the c-section. My parents came a little later with Brayden. Everything went so great! Its nice the 2nd time around when you know what to expect :) Although, they had some trouble doing the spinal :( They had to stick me several times trying to get a opening.. I cried and cried... the lady kept apologizing for making me cry.. I assured her that I was just a big baby!*L* They ended up calling the doctor in there to do it, and once he got it I immediately felt the tingling in my legs. They then started prepping me, I wasn't as cold as I was with Brayden thankfully. Finally Tad and my mom came in!They took turns holding my hand :)

Mollie Mae Tisdale arrived on Monday September 30 at 7:57 am. She weighed 7lbs 2oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Mollie Mae has her brother beat, Brayden was 6lbs 12oz and 18 3/4 inches. I couldn't stop crying after I heard her first cry! I just honestly couldn't believe she was finally here. Praying for this little girl for almost 2 years was SOOO WORTH IT!

We are so excited to be a family of 4 now!

Getting ready to head home and pick up big brother!
We are so in love with this precious new baby girl and our feisty 4 year old Brayden! God has surely blessed us beyond measure!!

Sweet baby girl on the ride home, of course she slept the whole way :)
