He's Here!

I know that it's been a while since I've posted anything. I've been a litte busy getting everything ready for Brayden's arrival. We went to the hospital Sunday April 5 and started cervadil. That Monday morning the cervadil had no affect on me what so ever. So they started the pitocin drip which worked somewhat and very fast. I got my epideral at 4cm. and didn't go anywhere from there. Dr. Butler decided to do a c-section, and of course I was very upset and scared. My family all calmed me down and let me know that everything was going to be okay. So on April 6, 2009 at 7:43pm little Brayden Pierce Tisdale entered the world at 6lbs 12oz. 18.5in.long. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't trade motherhood for anything. I don't think I've ever seen a cuter, sweetier baby then him! He sleeps most the night, doesn't fuss alot (only when he's hungry), and overall is such a Good baby! Tad and I are very blessed to have such a healthy baby. Brayden is the first great-grandchild on my mothers side which is neat because I am the first grandchild on my mothers side. Brayden is only 2wks and 3dys old and is already spoiled rotten. He hates to sleep by himself, he thinks that he must be held or in the bed next to Tad and me.

My 1st Baby Shower!

I had my first baby shower this past weekend and it was so much fun! My friends Tiffany Wiggins, Nina Williams, Brandi Gatlin, and Lindsey Hutto were the Hostesses. They had it at the DRS School of Dance which is where Tiffany and I work at. All of us have taken dance except for Nina, but she has attended our recitals for many years. Mrs. Sellars the owner of the studio was put in the hospital a week ago, and I'm praying that she is going to be okay. I got lots of great gifts at the baby shower, now I just have nowhere to put it. I'm sure that I will be able to do something with all the gifts. I actually have another next Sunday afternoon at the Chamber of Commerce and Tad's aunts are hosting it for me. I'm getting super excited about Brayden's arrival and just can't wait to see him. I also went to the doctor yesterday and my doctor put me on bed rest. It's only been one day and I absolutley hate it! I go back next Tuesday so maybe my swellling will be alot better and I won't have to be on bed rest. I still get to go to school and dance though....I'm just not able to do anything else except lay around. Normally, I would love that but I guess when your made too..its just not that fun.

Hey Everyone!

I'm Kayla Pierce Tisdale and I'm married to Tad Tisdale. We were married in early September of 2008 and are having a great time together. We are also expecting our first baby boy in April and are super excited and cannot wait until he arrives. Both of us actually picked out the name together which would be Brayden Pierce Tisdale. I don't think that April can get here quick enough for either one us. We are both only children so Brayden will not have any Aunts or Uncles, but we both have friends that will serve as his aunts and uncles. Married life is totally wierd, but we are both still getting used to it. We do enjoy our time together and do love eachother alot! Our families are different from one another but I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. We both are very thankful for them and everything they do for us. Well its time for my daily nap so...
