Just like New

 This picture was taken Thursday night while I was cooking Brayden and I supper. He was being soo sweet playing in the living room, and then he decided he needed to take a break on the couch. Notice all the slober on his shirt, I've never known a child to slober as much..Well I guess I do, it would be me... :) When I was in middle school I had to wear a lip bumper before I got braces, and it made my bottom lip poke out so I would slobber occasionally, and sometimes I still do. haha... Anyway, Mother and I cleaned my carpets yesterday and they looked SOO much better! We will really be able to tell today, I haven't been home yet since we stayed here last night to let the carpet dry. So, I'm anxious to see if it did as good as a job as I think it did! I hope so.. Our carpet was filthy, and I don't understand how it could get that dirty. I'm hoping it looks just like NEW!:) Tad was pretty happy that we cleaned it, he has been wanting it done for awhile now. When I talked to him last night he said he wanted hardwood all throughout our house whenever we get to build one. :) They are finally getting to stay on location now, and out of those crappy hotel rooms! Bless their hearts, I don't see how they lived in that hotel for that long, I could barely make it one night! He made it through and now is able to start cooking instead of eating out everyday..and most importantly wear CLEAN CLOTHES! :) Brayden has learned a few new words this past week....stink stink, change it, turtle, golf cart, and pig. Of course his favorite word is NO! I will ask him anything and he says "Noooooo" and makes a funny face. He loves to dance and will start dancing in the middle of nowhere, there doesn't even have to be music playing sometimes. I guess he's going to be like his mommy and LOVE to dance! :) I don't know what we have planned for today, Mother had to go work registration for the fair this morning, and won't get off until 1 and daddy of course is in the deer woods. Brayden and I may go meet mother in Andy when she gets off and do some running around with her. He is asleep right now and I have nothing to do, which I guess I could do my math homework, but I think that can hold off until tomorrow afternoon or Monday! :)

Brayden was only up for about and hour and a half this morning before he crashed again. I was sitting on the love seat and he crawled up and sat with me, and the next thing I knew his head was falling over and his eyes were closed. I picked him up and held him on my chest for a few minutes then went and laid him down in our bedroom. It used to be "my" bedroom, but since Brayden came along he's kind of taken over some. What a day!

My day started at 5 am this morning, and boy was I wanting to stay in the bed! I was soo sleepy and of course I didn't sleep to well last night. We stayed with Izzy and Papa T since Papa T kept Brayden today while I was at school, and I wouldn't have to wake Brayden up at 6:30 for me to bring him down here. Once I got to school I felt better and wasn't so tired...thank goodness! After my first class was over I went down to the deli and got a fried chicken sandwhich that was YUMMY! Ohh it was soo good. I didn't eat breakfast before I left home because I was afraid it would make me sick. Sometimes breakfast makes me sick if I eat to early in the morning. So I was starving by 10:15! :) Overall, I had a good day at school and right now I'm not to sleepy but I'm sure by the time I watch One Tree Hill and Teen Mom..I will be worn slame out! We are working on week 2 without Tad and we miss him TONS. I wish he were home but I'm glad that we have him and that he wants to take good care of Brayden and I.

 The next few pictures are of Brayden and Oki Grace having snack time in the garage after playing hard in the yard. They both had their Opp Bobcats shirts on, and I thought it would be nice to have a picture of them together in their shirts.

 Brayden is dressing up as a dinosaur this year for Halloween and I cannot wait! He looks SOOO cute! It came in the other Saturday and I just had to try it on him and snap a picture. Last year, he was a girraffe and I'm pretty positive nothing will ever top that costume and how CUTE he looked in it, but the dinosaur comes pretty close! Plus I loved it because it was green, which is my favorite color.

 Doesn't he look just soo dern cute??? I think he does...He has to be the sweetest and cutest dinosaur that I've ever seen!!! :)

Oh yeah, Brayden's doctor appt. got cancelled Friday so I had to reschedule it for Monday the 18th! My poor boy has to get shots...I would say that I would take them for him if I could, but I really hate shots too. So, I just wish that he didn't have to have them, or maybe his daddy would come take them for him..  ;)

The Smallest things have the Biggest Difference! :)

Tad left for work last Monday, and most likely won't be home for another 2 weeks. :( So, Brayden and I surprised him with a trip to MS to see him on Saturday! We went with Amy and little miss Emma and had a great trip! :) We were sad to leave yesterday since we probably won't get to see Tad for awhile. We did enjoy our time with him though and Brayden was soo happy to see his daddy. It's going to be a long 2 weeks without him I'm sure! I have an 8 o'clock class that starts tomorrow, and I'm sure I will be super tired tomorrow night! So, that means that I have to get up at 5:00!!! I'm just not used to that at all, but I'm sure I will get used to by December...well maybe anyway! haha...It's only on Tuesday's since it's just a Hybrid class and part of it is online. I don't have dance this week since Opp Schools are out for Fall Break, which gives me time to spend with Brayden ;) Thursday was Tad's birthday, and bless his heart he was at work! He says that he turned 21 but in reality he turned 27!!! He's getting really close to 30.... He just wishes he was as young as me! haha..

This was Brayden last night after we got home from Izzy and Papa T's house, he fell asleep beside me sitting up while I was watching tv. So before I went to sleep I turned the light on and had to get a picture!  He was pooped from his ride home yesterday, but he was glad he got to see his daddy!

 Well last November I asked Aunt Sam if she could make me some new curtains for my kitchen, because we had the ones that came with the house and they were not my style! :) She told me to go get some fabric at T&C, so thats what I did. Well she was busy and wasn't able to make them over Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. I would tease her about making everything else and not my curtains! Well it was about time for summer and she "promised" me that she would make them this summer...so do you think I got them this summer? NOOO!!! :) She was busy, yes I know! So, while we were on our way to MS Saturday she called me and said " Valerie is going to make your curtains" I was soo HAPPY! It's been 11 months since I bought that fabric and FINALLY I'm getting some curtains :) When Brayden and I got home yesterday the first stop we made was at Aunt Sam's house to get the curtains and they are sooo cute! I'm crazy about the color green it's my favorite so of course my curtains have a lot of green in them. Here are a few pictures of my new curtains! Valerie and Aunt Sam thank you soo much! :)

Always remember if your not a "PAYING COSTUMER" your sewing things come last!!! hahaha... The paying costumers always come first! Believe me its the truth. I mean it took almost a whole year to get some curtains for my kitchen! I love you Aunt Sam! Now, is Brayden going to have some shirts for this winter or am I going to have to starve him so that maybe you'll have them done by next winter and he'll be able to wear them??? HAHAHA! LOVE YOU!

Just a Few things...

Our weekend started out with a yardsale on Saturday morning. My mother and I had a yardsale together, and we did pretty good too. We were just glad to get rid of everything and not have it in our houses anymore, which most of it was in her house...haha :) So after the yardsale was over we both took a nap with Brayden since we had been up since 4:30! Tad and my daddy smoked a boston butt and they cooked me Tilapia because I don't eat boston butt...Yes I know I'm weird... I got Aunt Sam to bake Tad a pound Cake for his birthday since he won't be home for his birthday on Thursday. So we had pound cake and homemade ice cream! It was YUUUMMMYYY! Tad will be 27 on Thursday, though he says that he's going to be 21. I guess he's already starting to get senile. haha. He left for work today which is a day early, but its okay since he's been home almost 3 weeks with us! We still miss him of course but we got to spend some extra time with him. He left around 10 this morning and Brayden and I have been absolutely lazy all day long. We went to mother and daddy's for a little while tonight and just relaxed..haha... So we really haven't done ANYTHING at all today. I did wash clothes today, clean Brayden's room, go through some of his summer clothes to sell, and clean the kitchen. Other than that we have played inside and outside today. Tomorrow is back to school and Dance, but its payday tomorrow! :) so thats always a good day! ;) I will make 3 trips to Dothan this week, because Brayden has his 18 month appt. on Friday morning.Brayden is passed out right beside in the bed laying on top of all our pillows. He looks so comfortable and peaceful! I wish I slept as good as he does at night. It's almost 10:30 and I have a long drive to Dothan in the morning.

Of course this is their gameday picture! Tad holding a number 1... I'm assuming he's trying to say that Auburn in number 1. :) Brayden can say War and Hey but he's missing the Eagle part so we're still working on that part!

I'm not exactly sure what Brayden was doing in this picture, but I thought he caught his little personality just right! I kind of looks like he's trying to sing... We have a microphone at Mother and Daddy's house that goes to the karaoke machine and Brayden LOVES playing with it. He hollers into it and walks around and wants us to holler into it also. So cute, We always tell him he needs to be on American Idol. :) He will be my BIG 18month old on Wednesday, and it makes me want to cry cry cry! I just think about how small he was this time last year and that he was just starting to try to scoot around the floor, and feeding him bottles every 4 hours! I miss that soo much! Our Past Week....

We had a great week! School was good, dance was good, everything was just good...nothing bad! *haha* Tad is home..He came home last Friday because they switched his rig again. Which is a good thing since his new rig is in MS. Shorter drive and less money we have to fork out for gas! Makes me much happier that I don't have to worry about Tad on that long drive anymore to Texas! Anyway, I'm taking an Art Appreciation class online, and I've known for about a month that I had to do a art project due on Wednesday. Well, of course I wait until Wednesday to do it!!! I CAN NOT DRAW I repeat I CAN NOT DRAW!!!! It doesn't matter if I spent a week working on that project I really don't think that it would have been much better than I did it in just a couple of hours. I cannot draw stick people...How in the world am I supposed to draw the Mona Lisa? I mean COME ON!!! I never made higher than a "B" in my high school art class, I think she just felt sorry for me and let me have a B. But Its over and its turned in! Thank goodness!!!! Wednesday night I didn't sleep a wink! So, when it was time for me to get up on Thursday morning for school, I felt horrible. My left ear hurt, I was sleepy, and sneezed my head off about 30 times I think! I made it to school and Math Class was absolutley STRESSFULL. I have never learned to much math within an hour and a half in my whole entire lifetime! I thought my brain was going to explode. So, after math I went to my evolutionary psy. class and the teacher wasn't there so we watched a video on the evolution of diseases. Very interesting I must say! Mother, Gail, and Sam were in Dothan all visiting doctors... So I met them and we went to the mall to shop. None of us really got much...I did get some sandals for $15 at Dillards which are Gianni Bini...I thought that was a steal!:) Friday Mother, Brayden and I went to Lowe's after she got home from work to get some blinds for my house. We have those cheap white blinds that came with our trailor, and Brayden has torn them to pieces! I want some better ones that he wouldn't be able to mess these up. I only bought 2 sets since they are kind of pricey. These will go in our bedroom and we will work our way down to Brayden's room to replacing the blinds. Today, Tad is with Josh Carnley at the Auburn Game...He has been so excited all week long about this game. It started Monday...and by Tuesday morning I was ready for Saturday!haha...But I'm happy that he's getting to go since he hasn't been able to go in the past couple of years. I hope he has a good time and enjoys being around all the Auburn Fans!!!WARRRR EAGGGLLEEE!

This was last Saturday, we were planning on having company for the game that night, so I decided to make cookies and Brayden wanted to help!! :)

Aggrevation and much more...

Tad left this morning about 6 and I started missing him as he was pulling out of the yard. I didn't go to school today because I didn't have a babysitter and so Brayden and I got to spend some time together. I took him to Aunt Gail around 2:15 and when Aunt Sam got out of school she picked him up for and took him home. She was going to the Ladies Night Out at Southside I think it was tonight so she brought Brayden and Oki to me at 6:15 to the dance studio. We all know that my week at dance last week was horrible and just from being there today...its going to be a much worse week! I love my girls and I would miss them very much if I weren't there, but I honestly can't take much more. It seems like everything that I do to try and help out that it doesn't matter at all. Well, I've decided to stop trying to go that "extra" mile. I will hopefully be starting my Senior year at Troy in January and I honestly don't know what my schedule will be, and I'm pretty sure that I've got to start putting my foot in the door somewhere for a job after I graduate. When I'm at school and dance during the week I feel like I have NO time for Brayden or Tad. It makes me sad because Tad understands that I'm tired, but Brayden doesn't and I'm just not used to that... The summer was great I only went to school 1 day a week and I didn't have dance...I got to spend so much time with Brayden and Tad and it felt great! Now, I just feel like I'm pretty useless because I've always got to be doing something whether it be for school or its me going that "extra" mile for dance...Brayden's asleep right now and looks soo peaceful...I wish I could sleep like that, I couldn't tell you the last time I have slept all night. The sad thing is Brayden has always slept through the night, maybe the first month of his life he got up once, but that was about it. Stress is just overtaking my life and I hate it...and I feel like I can't get rid of it. On a better note....When Tad comes home next week we are leaving for the beach for 2 days when I get out of school on Thursday and coming home on Saturday! I'm soo excited about having some time with my little family and playing on the beach ;) We thought about staying until Sunday, but I really thought about and Sunday is for being with your church family and being in the most wonderful place...God's House! Thats more important to us than being at the beach an extra day. I'm hoping to take Brayden to the gulfarium while we are down there, probably on Saturday before we come home. He's going to love it, he loves fish and its soo funny when you ask him what a fish says...I'm hoping things will get better this week...all I can do is pray...so I'm praying HARD. Well, I'm going to try and lay down with my precious boy and go to sleep...doubt it....I hope everyone has a good rest of the week! :)

Just another Monday..

We had a great weekend! On Friday, Tad and I spent some time together...We went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and then had lunch at Howard's...YUMMY! After lunch, He went and played golf with our Sunday School teacher Brother Ralph, and I went and picked up Brayden and did some errands around town. Thank goodness Brayden was feeling much better! He woke me up at 1:30 Thursday morning burning up...his temp. wasn't that high but he did NOT feel good at all. I didn't go to school on Thursday since he was sick and I don't like to leave him when he's sick. I did have to go to dance that afternoon, but I wasn't away from him very long! Anyway, Tad helped Will Mack on the race car Friday night, so Tiffany came over to see us and we had a good time talking and catching up since I don't see her for a month when Traveler is home. Tiffany, Brayden and I went to Dothan Saturday shopping and had lunch at Chili's...one of my very favorite places to eat because its soo good and soo cheap! Neither one of us bought much, but what we bought was on sale! :) I love to bargain shop! I got Brayden the cutest little Brown jacket for $5 at Old Navy, it reminds me of the jacket I wanted to buy from the Kellys Kids catalog! Sunday we went to church and started our Revival, and of course it was GREAT! If you can make it this week you def. should! I'm not sure if we're going tonight simply because Tad has to leave bright and early in the morning to go back to work, and I have to work the other 2 nights. :( I'm hoping this week while he is gone will go by pretty fast since when he comes home we are going to the BEACH for a couple of days! I'm so excited and going to the beach before it turns cold on us! My mother and I are also having a yard sale October 2, so we've got to get busy getting things together for it. Overall, everythings going really good in the Tisdale household! I did have a bad week at dance and I really hope that it gets better this week. School, Dance, being a mommy, and being a wife is really a FULL TIME job! I love spending time with my family and being able to see them all the time and I LOVE living so close to everyone. :) I hope everyone has a blessed week and don't work to hard! *haha* :)
